HONK Launches Mobile Parking for Toronto Pearson International Airport – Canada’s Largest Airport
Travelers can now access convenient and affordable parking at Toronto Pearson with HONK, the innovative App transforming parking across North America
TORONTO, ON, June 5th, 2018 – HONK, North America’s fastest and most convenient way to find and pay for parking and the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), have partnered to introduce a new channel to pay for parking at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada’s largest and busiest airport. To celebrate the launch, HONK is offering travelers 10% off their airport parking. The offer: reserve airport parking using promo code YYZ between June 5 to 19th for travel before August 31st, 2018. HONK is a cutting-edge platform transforming the parking experience – the first of its kind in Canada to allow travelers to reserve and pay for airport parking in advance with an app.
The HonkAPP allows users to seamlessly search, pay for and top up parking directly from their smartphone, tablet or computer. In addition to giving users the ability to pre-purchase parking, HONK gives travelers the flexibility of extending their parking sessions remotely – perfect for when trips are extended or flights are delayed. Travelers can start using the app immediately to book parking at both Pearson terminals, including valet, daily and value parking lots up to 60 days in advance. Once booked, HONK users will receive a barcode to scan upon entering and exiting the parking location.
The launch at Toronto Pearson builds off the increased demand for HONK and mobile payments from municipalities, schools and businesses and signals an intent to expand to other airports across Canada.
